Worship and "Inreach" Ministries

The altar guild prepares sacred vessels and vestments for all services.

Our acolytes serve at the altar during worship services.

The choir sings during the Sunday 10am Eucharist. An additional bell choir brightens the worship service on special occasions.

Lay eucharistic ministers read the lessons at the Eucharist and bear the chalice during communion. Some L.E.M.s also visit members of our community who cannot travel to church regularly.

Our ushers act as greeters, distribute bulletins, and take up the offering at services.

Sunday School and Nursery teachers and helpers teach and care for our children.

Parish Care helpers send notes and take food to members in need and help with transportation.

The Property Commission takes care of our buildings and grounds.

Strauss-Betker Hall

We completely renovated our parish hall in 2008 and we offer it to the community for activities and events that nurture people’s growth and celebrate life’s joys and accomplishments. We request a small donation to help with facility expenses. Call us at 847-824-2043 to reserve it!
